ABOUT THE COMPANY

Brelmat Music was established in 1982 to promote two new trombone concertos. Through the years the catalogue has expanded due primarily to commissions from brass players/teachers from various orchestras, conservatories and universities. Prominent among its listings is the Concerto for Bass Trombone by Frank H. Siekmann, written at the request of Charles Vernon, then of the Philadelphia Orchestra and now with the Chicago Symphony. Dr. Siekmann has received commissions from:
