MASS
MASS IN MARIACHI STYLE
This composition heads the list of Sacred Music since it is the most significant. It may be integrated into a church service or be performed as a concert piece. The Mass is in the traditional five sections : Kyrie 4 min.; Gloria 7 min.; Credo 3 min.; Santus 4 1/2 min.; Agnus Dei 2 1/2 min. Total performing time, with pauses, 25 min. The text is in English and is from the liturgy of the United Church of Christ. The Choir is SATB with some parts divided. The Mariachi Band is scored for 9 musicians: 2 violins, 2 trumpets, guitar, string bass, marimba, 2 percussionists.
This piece is available on rental only. Rental includes full score, choral octavos and instrumental parts. Cost will vary according to the number of choral octavo required and the number of performances.
